Statement
from SANITY (Subjects Against the Nice Treaty)
14/11/2000
Andrew Marr, the BBC's Blairite political editor, last night used the
word "treason" on the 10 0'clock news on BBC1 when referring
to Blair's
concerns over the Nice Treaty
The word "treason" is finally on the political agenda

By 5.30pm tonight, Thursday 21 September, SANITY
activists had confirmed
the delivery at magistrates courts across the UK of well over 200
statements
drawing attention to the "clear and present danger" of
treason being committed
by the Prime Minister and others.
Courts from Liskeard, Cornwall to Margate, Kent, and the Isle of Wight
to
Warrington, Lancashire, had been presented with the SANITY
statement.
The court in Barnstaple, Devon, received eight. Many others had
multiple
copies delivered.
In London, Norris McWhirter, chairman of the Freedom Association, and
Torquil Dick-Erikson, who first drafted the document, handed their
copies in at Horseferry Road, the court nearest the House of Commons.
The total number handed in during the day is likely to be nearer 500,
once all returns have been received. The organisers now expect at
least
1000 to be in the hands of magistrates by the weekend.
"SANITY calls on all loyal subjects who object to the destruction
of our
constitution to add their voice to the outcry which started today and
lay their own copies with their nearest magistrates court as soon as
possible. If the final total runs into tens of thousands, maybe
even
hundreds of thousands, so much the better", a spokesman said.
"If you know a crime is likely to be committed it is your duty to
report
it. We now know there is a crime being planned."
From 21st of September details of submissions
laid will appear on this page.

Bournemouth
You will no doubt be aware that today Monday the 2nd. October
documents
'laid as information of Misprision of Treason' relative to Tony Blair,
Robin
Cook, Jack Straw and Lord Williams of Mostyn, during the last few weeks
at
some 2-300 Magistrates Courts across Britain came up, as a first
instance,
in the Bournemouth Courts.
At 10 am. three people were due to appear before District Judge Farmer
to
clarify their actions for him.
Mr. Farmer refused to see the individuals in open Court.
Mr. Farmer insisted on seeing each individual alone.
Mr. Farmer clearly did not understand his duty in the instance of
'Laying of
Information'.
Mr. Farmer freely admitted he had NOT read the documentation with due
care
but 'briefly glanced at them over the weekend'.
Mr. Farmer refused to give conscience to the documents in dereliction
of
his duty unless the individuals were prepared to proceed with and fund a
private prosecution.
For the above reasons I am inclined to believe that Mr. Farmer is
thereby
guilty of collusion in Misprision of Treason and would comment as
follows,
with I believe every justification:
Our thanks to all the true patriots who were in Bournemouth this morning
by
10am. to attend Bournemouth Court.
It was unfortunate with so many people present and in the presence of
the
press who attended that the laying of information of 'Misprision of
Treason'
against Tony Blair, Robin Cook, Jack Straw and The Attorney General was
heard before District Judge Farmer.
Mr. Farmer should really have stuck to the work of his ancestors farming
he
is a disgrace in his new job as a District Judge.
Mr. Farmer as a District Judge draws his salary of over 70,000 pounds
per
annum it would seem dishonestly.
He had NO understanding of the legal device of 'laying of information',
he
did NOT know the meaning of 'Misprision of Treason' - he thought those
who
had 'laid information' were trying to take out 'A Private Prosecution'.
Is
this so called judge brain dead?
OK so District Judge Farmer of Bournemouth seems to be grossly
incompetent
which is hardly what one would expect on over 70,000 pounds a year
salary.
On top of that Mr. Farmer was too bone idle to read the documents or
even
worse could not understand the documents right in front of him!! Between
2&300 citizens with NO legal training understood the documentation
sufficiently to 'lay information' at Courts the length and breadth of
Britain!
Lets hope ALL the Judges in Britain are NOT such a disgrace as Mr.
Farmer
and are not as irresponsible.
Congratulations to those who, in defence of Britain, attended court in
Bournemouth today - so much for British justice just think how awesomely
worse it will become when the EU runs ALL our Courts, if the District
Judges
don't even understand British Common Law and can't read what hope is
there
with political apparatchicks on the bench, no juries, removal of Habeas
Corpus and the EU's corrupt concept of law 'Corpus Juris' which openly
and
unequivocally states on page 40 para 3 of the official EU handbook
'Across a
largely unified EUrope this will provide a better system of repression'.
The dereliction of duty and total incompetence of District Judge Farmer
holds out little hope for Britain when already we know that due to the
EU it
can only get worse!
Greg Lance - Watkins
Exeter and Cullompton
The Clerk to the Justices for Exeter and Cullompton has written to
say that
there are no grounds for inviting a Justice to issue a summons and he
will
therefore not take the matter further because: "The 1795 [Treason]
Act was
repealed in full by the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 which for that
purpose
was brought into effect by the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (Commencement
No 2 and Transitional Provisions) Order 1998 which came into effect on
19
September 1998."
Newark and Southwell
05 October 2000
Dear Sir
Notice of Treason
I have been passed a copy of your Notice dated 21st September 2000 by A
J Jarvis Esq, JP, Chairman of the Newark and Southwell Justices.
Having considered the contents of the Notice it appears unclear as to
whether or not you are making a report of a planned or committed offence
of treason to a Justice of the Peace or whether you are laying an
Information purporting to disclose an offence for process to be
commenced against the four named "suspects".
If your intention is merely to report the matter to a Justice of the
Peace, the contents of the Notice are noted.
If it is your intention to lay an Information as per the heading on page
1, I can advise you that the matter has been put before Deputy District
Judge Fowler at Nottingham Magistrates' Court. He has considered the
contents of the Notice and his decision is that the Notice does not
disclose an offence known to English law. He declines to issue process.
Mr Jarvis has been advised of the decision of Mr Fowler.
Yours faithfully
Graham Cooper
Clerk to the Justices

Birmingham
I arrived at court 19 at 09.45, and shortly afterwards
a group of Magistrates' began to discuss the matter in private with
District Judge Miles McColl. As I sat outside, I was amused to see
Magistrates scurrying in and out of the courtroom and fresh faces
appearing to enter - this went on until 11am.
At 11am I was called into court to be told that the
matter would be heard in Judge McColl's office. (surprise surprise)
The Judge thanked me for laying the information so comprehensively and
I presented it back to him in summary-form, adding my own statement -
words to the effect that directives and diktats passed down to our
sovereign parliament from the Commission take precedent to Britain's
laws, that the people have never sanctioned this
treachery-in-progress, excetera, excetera.
The Judge asked me what I expected him to do. I said
that given such evidence, he should issue summons for the four people
named to appear before him on charge of Treason; that they should be
warned against signing the Treaty of Nice and told that if they do -
justice will quickly follow. At 11.20am I was asked to leave the room
while the Judge ''applied his mind''.
At 11.40 I was taken back to receive the Judge's
decision. He said that he believes that there isn't a case to answer
under English Law, and that there for there isn't a prima facie case.
He suggested that I contact the Crown Prosecution Service to bring a
private prosecution. (If only I could afford to) Adding, that this
would fail because the Attorney General is on the list.
My analysis: ''The Judge was sympathetic but
gutless''.
Please remove Lord Williams from the list and proceed.
One can't prosecute oneself.

Euro-protester fails in Blair treason case
An
application by the Democracy Movement to bring Tony Blair and
members of his Cabinet to court for treason was thrown out by a court
yesterday. Steve Rogers, head of the Birmingham branch of the Movement,
formerly the Referendum Party, claimed the Prime Minister, Foreign
Secretary Robin Cook, Home Secretary Jack Straw and Attorney General
Lord Williams, would sign away British powers to Europe.
In a private application heard by
District Judge Miles McColl at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court, Mr
Rogers illeged that when the Government signs the Treaty of Nice by
December this year, Britain will
become powerless to resist foreign legislation.
Mr Rogers, of Yardley Wood, said that
by. subjugating Britain to Europe, Mr Blair was breaching the 1848
Treason and Felony Act and threatening the position of the Queen as head
of state. Afterwards, Mr Rogers, aged 43, said he was disappointed but
hoped a summons would result at other
hearings across the UK.
