Today’s news that the price of crude oil is at a 10 year high has sparked a huge response from supporters of the "Dump The Pump" campaign. As word of the impending price increases spreads, more and more motorists are joining the boycott of all BP petrol stations in the UK. We realise that increases in world prices of crude oil will enforce the petrol companies to increase the price we are enforced to pay at the pumps. But this only brings to the forefront the issue of totally unfair fuel taxation levels, more and more motorists realise that our campaign is their only real chance at placing pressure firstly, on BP as profits begin to slide and secondly the chancellor as he discovers consumer power as more and more motorists/voters channel their disgust at the price we are all enforced to buy our fuel for. We have been warning people ever since our campaign was launched that if they did nothing, the £5 gallon would be just around the corner, with news of the price of crude at a 10 year high it only serves as a warning shot that we MUST now stand together and place pressure on BP through our campaign to boycott BP petrol stations each and EVERY DAY indefinitely until the issue of totally unfair fuel taxation is addressed.
